Under the organization of Club Rotario Los Cabos and the Los Cabos Hotel Asosiation support the first paellas contest will be held at this destination.
Next Saturday June 4th Hotel Sheraton Resort & Spa will host the contest of paellas, where 10 of the best chefs will delight diners with artful combinations of this Valencian dish.
The contest promises to be a fun event enlivened by two guest musicians. The chefs will have 15 minutes to select their ingredients within a "market" assembled in the hotel lounges, in addition to using one surprise ingredient drawn for each. Then they will have 1 hour and 30 minutes to prepare paellas for the judges and the public to taste.
The participating hotels are:
1.- Sheraton Hacienda del Mar with De Cortez Restaurant.
2.- Sheraton Hacienda del Mar with Pitahayas Restaurant.
3.- Villa Group with Neptune Restaurant.
4.- Casa Dorada with El Rincon Culinario Restaurant.
5.- Breathless Resort & Spa
6.- Pueblo Bonito Blanco y Pueblo Bonito Rose
7.- Grand Solmar
8.- JW Marriot
9.- Cabovillas
10.- The Cape by Thompson
Besides being a culinary extravaganza full of flavor, the event aims to raise funds to increase the number of scholarship for children under the program of the Rotary Club Los Cabos. Recalling that the commitment to these children begins from elementary to high school, so tickets will cost $ 500.00mxn pesos which includes 1 glass of wine and tasting of paellas resulting from competition.
Tickets are limited and can be acquired at PR Solutions offices in Cabo San Lucas or Don Sanchez Restaurant in San José del Cabo.
