Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo are two cities that form one of the most emblematic tourist destinations in Mexico. Year after year, vacationers choose Los Cabos to enjoy the best hotels in the world, practice different activities and attend unique events.
The new image for Los Cabos Film Festival created by a graphic designer and illustrator, Eduardo Ramon, is a poster that exposes a woman whose face holds elements of Los Cabos as the Arch of Cabo San Lucas, the gray whales looking out at the sea, the sun and the landscape that refers to the colorful region.
Los Cabos Film Festival is one of the most important events in the city that welcomes national and international artists and allows you to enjoy the art of the highest quality in documentaries and cinematographic projects.
Los Cabos Film Festival has different platforms for you to enjoy the films; for example, Cine para todos (Cinema for everybody) is an open-air screening of Mexican movies rated A for the whole family. The entrance is free, additionally, in each function, one of the movie actors or director attends the projection to interact with the audience. Until now, the films of Volando Bajo by director Beto Gomez and El Estudiante by Roberto Girault were shown.
On the other hand, there are the projects selected to compete for the Gabriel Figueroa Film Fund, which seeks to support and encourage directors and producers to finish the realization of their film productions. The festival announced that of the 462 proposals from 39 countries, 21 were selected: 12 film projects in development, 4 television and 5 work-in-progress. An international jury will be in charge of defining the winners who will receive more than $ 4,000,000 MXN.
One of the most important celebrations of the film industry, which reunites Mexico, the United States, and Canada, arrives once again to Los Cabos to remain as the most awaited film festivals by locals and tourist.
