El Triunfo is part of the municipality of La Paz. Located at 27.9 miles from this city and 91.9 miles from Los Cabos. It is a charming town that shelters history, personality and a peculiar economic contribution to the State. It was founded in 1751, with the issuance of a small group of the Spanish crown. Some of the historic celebrities present were: Leopoldo Ramos, head of telegraphs, revolutionary, journalist, and poet, as well as Francisco Cota Moreno, professor, and important writing character.

On November 19, 2017, the second Gastronomic Festival will be held, showing the flavors of the most important cuisines of Los Cabos and La Paz. Iconic resorts and renowned chefs are part of this gathering.

In April, has artistic presentations and gastronomic displays to show the culture of the peninsula. The objective of this festival is to promote the artisan activity that is developed in the community with pieces of clay, basketry, and painting, among other demonstrations.
