Los Cabos International Film Festival

Cada mes de noviembre en Los Cabos, uno de los lugares más bellos de México, se celebra un espacio orientado al diálogo y la colaboración del cine. En esta Cuarta edición del 13 al 15 de noviembre de 2014, socios estratégicos de México, Estados Unidos, Canadá y amigos de todo el mundo, construyen juntos una plataforma de intercambio cultural y comercial del ámbito fílmico en este maravilloso escenario de Baja California Sur.
Each November in Los Cabos, one of the most beautiful places in Mexico, a space-oriented dialogue and cooperation of the film takes place. In this fourth edition from 13 to 15 November 2014, Mexico's strategic partners, the United States, Canada and friends around the world, together build a platform for cultural and commercial exchange in the field of film beautiful scenery of Baja California Sur.

Con sede en El Pabellón Cultural de La República y Puerto Paraíso, se cuenta con 42 muestras fílmicas y cuatro galas internacionales: "Demolition", "Carol", "Remember" y "Steve Jobs". Entre las celebridades asistentes que han desfilado por la alfombra roja están Jean Marc Vallée, quien fue galardonado con el Tributo Director de este año, Jared Leto, Alosian Vivancos, Ilse Salas, Tenoch Huerta, Caloncho, Sophie Alexander Katz, entre muchos,muchos otros.

Headquartered in The Cultural Pavilion of the Republic and Puerto Paraiso, it has 42 filmic samples and four international galas: "Demolition", "Carol," "Remember" and "Steve Jobs". Among the attendees celebrities who paraded down the red carpet are Jean Marc Vallee, who was awarded the Tribute Director of this year, Jared Leto, Alosian Vivancos, Ilse Salas, Tenoch Huerta, Caloncho, Sophie Alexander Katz, among others.

Los Cabos International Film Festival ofrece un gran número de estrenos nacionales e internacionales en México, un espacio que permite a la industria del cine intercambiar ideas y nuevos proyectos, con una asistencia relevante de invitados de la industria cinematográfica.

Cabe destacar que Los Cabos International Film Festival tiene una alianza con el festival de Cannes, el festival más importante a nivel mundial, "Los Cabos goes to Cannes" permitirá que cuatro de los proyectos que se presentan en Los Cabos tengan pase directo también para Cannes.  

Note that Los Cabos International Film Festival has a partnership with the Cannes Film Festival, the largest festival in the world, with "Los Cabos goes to Cannes" four of the projects presented in Los Cabos will also pass directly to be in Cannes.

Una nueva alianza es con el Festival Tribeca, el más importante de Nueva York. El nivel de proyección que estas alianzas representan para cineastas es importantísimo.

Ciertamente se presentarán películas para el público en general y nos acompañarán artistas en la alfombra roja, sin embargo la importancia del festival radica en ser una incubadora de proyectos para directores y productores internacionales y del Distrito Federal.
