Libusche Wiesendanger – EMOTIONS/EMOCIONES

Born and raised in Prague, received her first professional training at the Art and Design School in Prague, Czech Republic. She continued training and received special instruction at the Art and Design School in Zurich, Switzerland.
Nacida y criada en Praga, recibió su primera formación profesional en la Escuela de Arte y Diseño en Praga, República Checa. Continuó la formación y recibió instrucción especial en la Escuela de Arte y Diseño de Zurich, Suiza.

Libusche Wiesendanger

Has her own studio and gallery in Baden, close to Zurich. Using diverse techniques on her works like brush painting on canvas with oil, acrylic and mixed media. Her style developed continuously towards semi-abstract and abstract, starting with figurative themes. The figurative work was enhanced by her great experience as a creator of very many beautiful string puppets. 
Libusche tiene su propio estudio y galería en Baden, cerca de Zurich. Utilizando diversas técnicas en sus obras como la pintura a pincel sobre lienzo con óleo, acrílico y técnica mixta. Su estilo se desarrolló de forma continua hacia lo semi-abstracto y abstracto, a partir de temas figurativos. La obra figurativa fue realzada por su gran experiencia como diseñadora de muchos hermosos muñecos títeres de hilo. 

 

She has numerous exhibitions in Switzerland, Germany and Italy. Her work is represented in very many private collections of America, Europe, the Middle East and South Africa as well as in European public collections.
Tiene numerosas exposiciones en Suiza, Alemania e Italia. Su obra está representada en muchas colecciones privadas de América, Europa, Oriente Medio y África del Sur, así como en colecciones públicas europeas.

In Baja California Sur her work is permanently shown at Galeria La Poza, the Hotel Posada La Poza and other galleries in Todos Santos.

EMOTIONS-EMOCIONES

This exhibit captures the theme of many of her paintings: the human being, represented by its body and its soul. The first is visible, touchable and with texture, the latter yet abstract, not visible, hidden, only with a hint from the creator.

Esta exposición captura el tema de muchas de sus pinturas: el ser humano, representado por su cuerpo y alma. La primera, es visible, tangible y con textura, el segundo es abstracta, no visible, oculto, sólo que con un toque del creador.

Leaving a wide degree of abstraction for the artist to play with, interpret in her own way, yet giving a vast degree of interpretation to the sensitive observer. Libusche never forces the viewer into a pre-set idea, but helps to discover the depth of the message and the feelings involved.
Con un amplio grado de abstracción para jugar, el artista interpreta a su manera, sin embargo, deja espacio a la interpretación para el observador sensible. Libusche nunca fuerza al espectador a una idea pre definida, pero ayuda a descubrir la profundidad del mensaje y los sentimientos involucrados.
